York State Sanitary Code,.and provided that within thirty (30)
days of the completion of water well construction, thOe applicant
shall:
1. Pump the well until the water is clear.
2e Disinfect the well'in accordance with _ the requirements
of the Putnam County Health Department attached to this

3. Submit a Well Completion Report on a form provided by
the Putnam County Health Department.

Dear Mr. Rosso
1','-,,have reviewed the proposed well installation for the above
noted property. I feel that a well can be instlled as shown on the
accompanyinga,sketch, that'should function satisfactorily and safely.
The property is located between Becker and Johnson Streets.
The groperty to.-3he west of your property on Johnson Streeto has a
septic system approximately 75 ft distant from the proposed well
installation, but w,.th the direction of flow away from the -well.
The properties on the southerly side of Johnson Street have no
effect on the proposed well.installation.
Your own septic system is located over 100 ft distant from the
proposed well and at a lower elevation.
The providons of the Town of Putnam VaLy Ordinance dated May
17, 1978 must be fully complied with8 Le.... Well to be double cased
with cement grout between'casingso laboratory testing to be made to
insure potable waterg casings to,be a minimum of 10 feet into bedrock.
If for some unforseen reason, the bacteria count becomes
• excessive, then additional measures must be employed, such as the
installation of a chlorinator and or filtration system.
