Public Health Director I have received and reviewed the plans for the proposed addition to the above mentioned residence. The plans indicate that a 4' X 12' addition will be added to the existing kitchen. Also, a 10 X 15 addition will be added in the area of the existing deck to increase the size of the master bedroom suite. This represents an increase of approximately 15% of existing floor area. Therefore, based on the information submitted, the above mentioned addition is APPROVED with.the following conditions: - 1. The total number of bedrooms must remain at three without prior approval by this Department. 2. The area of the existing sewage disposal system, and its expansion area, must be Maintained. 3. All plumbing fixtures must be replaced or updated with water saving devices, i.e., low flush toilets, restrictors for shower heads and faucets, etc. 4. No further addition. Approval is granted for sewage disposal only. A short EAF has been submitted as per SEQRA requirements and a negative declaration is in order since it appears that there will be no major impact on the environment. THEREFORE, based upon the above findings of fact, it is hereby ORDERED, that the application or appeal be and the same is hereby GRANTED, subject to the following: 1) The applicant shall obtain an approval from the Putnam County Department of Health, Division of'Environmental Health Services, for the septic system prior to the issuance of a Building Permit; 2) The kitchen extension shall not extend beyond the area -way into the `basement; and 3) The applicants shall obtain a Building Permit within 180 days from the date of the signing of this Decision and Order by the Town Clerk, otherwise this Decision and Order will become Null and Void.
