I have received and reviewed the plans for the proposed addition on the above
mentioned residence.
The plans indicate that the addition will be a master bedroom on the second
floor. An existing bedroom on the first floow will be used to expand the
existing kitchen. The proposed addition is not considered by this Department
to be an additional bedroom, or will it result in a potential increase.in
occupancy. Therefore, the plans for the above mentioned addition are approved
with the following conditions:.

2) The addition not to exceed 292 square feet.
3) Plumbing facilities be updated or converted with water
saving devices (i.e. low flush toilets of 3 —1lons or
floss restrictors for faucets, shower head etc.)

Enclosed please find prints of Proposed Floor Plans, dated August 27' i989,
Please note that the area of the Proposed Floor Plans is + 1950 s.f, that of
the Existing Floor Plans 1658 s.f. . The difference being 292 s.f.' or a
increase' 43 s. f, over the 15% threshold.
As previously discussed' the existing septic system was recently repaired' and
a 1500 gallon tank installed. The previous renovation plans, (adding about
1000 s.f.) were abandoned due to the ohibiti pzsts of ti g tha'wmll.

Since the area by which we exceed the threshold is not being used to provide
additional baths or bedrooms, we are requesting approval to proceed with this
project without installing a new septic system.

I have received and reviewed the tax map with the sewage disposal system
indicated on the Rubin property. It indicates that expansion area for
the sewage disposal system is available for the above captioned property,
if the existing well that serves this property is relocated.
The existing sewage disposal system is approximately 40 feet away from
Lake Oscawana.
Therefore, this Department requires the existing sewage disposal system
