Dear Mr.Morris,
Upon your advice during our phone conversation last week,
I am enclosing information on the property of Ramon and Lila
Murphy, for approval of your department.
As their architect, I am enclosing a copy of a letter
from the Murphys which authorizes me to act on their behalf.
Per your request, the enclosed plans show existing
conditions and proposed additions. we wish to enlarge the
existing common living space of the house (living /dining areas)
and add a breakfast space to the kitchen. Of-the four current
bedrooms upstairs, we want to forfeit the smallest one in
order to enlarge the bathroom, which is now very tight, and
we are not adding any bedrooms.
In the basement beneath the enlarged living space we
would liKe to install a sink and toilet, which would be the

(beneath the house), and the ample septic field in front.
The system has worked well for the 13 years of Murphy ownership.
Our proposed addition is currently before the Zoning
Board of Appeals (Hearing, July 29). We would appreciate.your
attention to our plans as soon as convenient, and your response
to the above address.
if you need to inspect the premises, the property is
off Aqua Lane, on Lake Oscawana. I will be glad to assist
in any way necessary.

Dear Ms. Vinogrador:
I have received and reviewed the plans for the proposed addition to the above
mentioned residence.
The plans have been approved as per plans bearing this Departments stamp and
dated July 24, 1993.
The survey indicates that sufficient area exists -to expand or repair the sewage
disposal system, should it become necessary in the future. Therefore, based on
the information submitted, the above mentioned addition is approved with the
following conditions:
1. The total number of bedrooms must remain at three without prior approval by

Y 2. The area of the existing sewage disposal system, and its expansion area; must
be maintained.
3. All plumbing fixtures must be replaced or updated with water saving devices,
i.e., low flush toilets, restrictors for shower heads and faucets, etc.
Approval is granted.for sewage disposal only. --Any other permits or variances

of Putnam Valley
