The source of supply for this system will be taken from two wells located in the southwesterly portion of the proposed service area. `.Public notice of hearing having been published and given by mail pursuant to Environmental Conservation Law, Section 75 and Conservation Law, Sections 431, subdivision 1, and 451, subdivision 2, and the Town of Putnam having filed a notice of appearance, the Department on August 1, 1972 at 11:00 o'clock in the forenoon held the hearing on this application in the Town Hall of the Town of Putnam Valley. The petitioner was represented by Howard A. Thomson, Esq., its attorney. Though a notice of appearance was filed by the Town of Putnam Valley, no one appeared at the hearing to represent the Town. PROJECT REVIEW N, The application and supporting papers submitted having been reviewed by the Department and by the New York State Departments of Health and Public Service, when required, and the application, maps and plans, as modified by the conditions contained herein, having been found to meet the sfatulory requirements of Conservation Law, Section 451, subdivision 4, the applicant is hereby authorized to carry out the project as described above subject to such modifications and conditions as herein set forth.
