Since the addition is over 15% of the original, the building inspector is requiring a letter from the health depa.rtmen -t. There is an existin.g well and sewage dis- posal system on the property as shown. We are proposing a new system consisting of a 900 - gallon septic tank, as well as three 8'x8' seepage pits. The closest.pi.t is located 100' from the well and there are no adjacent wells within 100.' of the proposed system. The existing sewage disposal area is located approximately 45' from the well so this proposed addition.will improve the existing situation. Percolation test results were less than five minutes per inch and the test holes in- dicated a sandy loam material to a depth of greater than Please let me know if there is any additional information you require.. Darren and Ronda Gentile 4 Ripley Rd. . Patterson, NY 12563 To Whom It May Concern: I am writing to request that we be allowed to build a second story addition to our home. We would like to remove the existing bedrooms on the main level and put three bedrooms on the second floor. Our plans are to enlarge the living space on the main level, as shown on the sketch that we have submitted. The two back bedrooms would be made into one large room that would be used as an office /den. We would like to convert one. of the bathrooms into a mud room. Currently the bedrooms are very small and as the children grow the rooms seem to get even smaller. There is limited closet space, therefore coats and shoes end up all over the kitchen. I have lived in Putnam Lake for the past 35 years and would like to continue to raise my family here. My children have established friendships and are doing well in the Brewster school system. However, unless we are able to enlarge our home, our only affordable option would be to leave the area in order to find a larger home. BONBI County Executive I have received and reviewed the plans for the proposed addition at the above mentioned residence. Based on the information submitted, the above mentioned addition cannot be approved for the following reasons: 1. On October 3, 2005, the Waiver Committee reviewed your proposed. house plans and has determined that the residence has a bedroom count of four. 2. The legal bedroom count for the dwelling is three. The potential bedroom count of your proposed addition is four. 3. The addition of a potential bedroom requires this Department's approval of a revised septic system plan from a professional engineer. Please revise the proposed floor plan to reflect no more than three potential bedrooms, or have a professional engineer or registered architect design a sub - surface sewage treatment system meeting present code requirements for four bedrooms. If you have any questions, please contact me at your convenience. GDR: cw Sincerely, of . Gene D.
