I have received and reviewed the plans for the proposed addition to the above mentioned residence
The proposal for the addition has been approved as per plans bearing the latest revision date of
May 181999 and this Department's approval stamp.
Based on the information submitted, the above mentioned addition is approved with the following
conditions:
1. The total number of bedrooms must remain at three without prior approval by this
Department.
2. The area of the existing sewage disposal system, and its expansion area, must be
maintained.
3. All plumbing fixtures must be updated with water saving devices, i.e., new low
flush toilets, restrictors for shower heads and faucets, etc.
Approval is granted for sewage disposal only. Any other permits or variances required are the
responsibility of the applicant and the jurisdiction of the Town of Patterson.

following reasons:
1. The computer room and master bedroom extension each are considered potential

Septic system plan from a professional engineer.
Please revise the proposed floor plan to reflect no more than ee potential bedrooms, or have

Dear Mr. Luke:
Attached please find a revised floor plan, which I hope you will find
acceptable. The dimensions of this plan are 22 ft. X 12 ft., (16 X 12 floor plan/6 ft.
X 12 ft. deck off master bedroom), recessing two feet on the front and back of the
house. The primary purpose of putting an addition on the current house are as
follows:
1. Additional closet space, which is currently extremely limited.
I'would like to -add a walk -in closet in the master bedroom so we
can access the current closet through the main bathroom, as there are
currently no linen or storage closets. In bedroom #2, I would like to
utilize the double closet space and eliminate the closet currently in.
bedroom #3.
2. Expand bedroom #3, adding closet space and allowing for additional
room for our children's computer.
I understand the reasons you did not approve the first proposal. However, as
we had discussed this. with the Patterson Building Inspector, who did not foresee
any problems with this proposal, we are currently in the process of refinancing for
this project, and hope you will expedite a decision to us as soon as possible.
Our house is currently 13 years old, and it is our understanding that we have
an oversized septic system as well as 8 galleys, as we were told the health
department codes were strictly enforced at the time our house was built. We also
own five additional lots adjacent to our property, which I believe I already indicated
to you.
