c. System description (e.g., 1250 gal. Concrete septic tank, etc.)
d. Installers' name and phone number
3. System repair to be performed in accordance with the above proposal and conditions
4. The proposed SSTS repair is considered a best fit design and there is no guarantee to the duration at which the
completed SSTS repair will function.
5. No completed work is to be backfilled until authorization to do so has been obtained from the Department.

Dear Mr. Calbo:
I.have inspected the new residence constructed by Mr. & Mrs. Gorramone on
Readying Road (Lots #5156 -5158 Incl., 7th Map of Putnam Lake). The new residence
was constructed to replace the house destroyed by fire in late 1988.
Although.the, new residence is within the same footprint as the original
structure, the second.story.is larger than the original. However the basement
area will no longer be'used as a living area.
'Bai§ed bn the "informati6 `submitted; and° a field - inspedtiori;'" this 'Department ' has
no objection to the new residence as long as the basement area is used for
storage and not additional living area.

Chairman Edwards asked Mrs. Perrin what her mother's age was and was
advised that it was 78 years. He asked if there were any further questions
from the Board. Mr. Buzzutto commented that they might want to see the
house. Chairman Edwards stated that he was trying to visualize the house
and the other homes in the immediate area. Mr. Perrin stated that the next
door neighbor is The Guiding Eye for the Blind - which is on the other
side of the pond. The other neighbors are the Ballards up the road. He
stated that Ballard's property goes 300' past them.
Mr. Buzzutto made a motion to, have a site walk. Mr. Herbst seconded the
motion. Chairman Edwards tabled the application for a site inspection to
get a general layout as to what.was proposed. He stated that he thought
the Perrins met the other requirements of a hardship factor to accommodate
Mrs. Perrin's mother. .It is a matter of routine that the Board go out on
a site inspection.

Mr. Frank Garamone was present together with Building Inspector Calbo.
Chairman Edwards stated that this is a rquest for a variance to re -build
a home on an existing foundation that was destroyed by fire. (RPL -5 Zone).
Chairman Edwards commented to Mr. Calbo that with reference to a structure
that is destroyed 100%, the owner of the property has the option to build
it as it existed before and asked why he would have to go before the Appeals
Court if he is the same person building.
Mr. Calbo advised that according to the Town Code even though they have
the right, they have to go to the Zoning Board of Appeals - it is just a
formality.
Mr. Herbst asked Mr. Garamone when the fire occurred and was advised that
it was just before Christmas. He stated that they were waiting for the
Board to give it's. approval so that they could go ahead and re- build.
Mr. Buzzutto stated that although Mr. Garamone has indicated that he is
going to build it the same size he has, according to the survey, proposed
an addition.
Mr. Calbo advised that this is a survey that was made on the house about
7 years ago when an addition was made. Mr. Garamone stated that thirty
years ago the house was 26' x 26' originally. We then added a 10' x 22'
dining room and a deck in the back and enclosed it. There-were 3 bedrooms,
li baths, 'a dining room and a California room.
Mr. Herbst asked if it were one or two stories. Mr. Garamone stated that
the basement is not even a full block underground. Mr. Garamone stated
that when the family was home we added bedrooms and in thirty years there
were a lot of changes.
